MIRVAC ‘BUILDS’ NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MELBOURNE BOOMERS
Mirvac is excited to announce a three-year partnership with the Melbourne Boomers Academy basketball clinic program.
Mirvac is proud to be involved with this exciting Academy program, run by the Melbourne Boomers Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) team, which offers children the opportunity to develop their basketball skills and have fun in a safe and encouraging environment during the school holidays.
All Mirvac communities follow a design philosophy of bringing people together and inspiring healthy living. This naturally aligns with the Boomers Academy’s goal of creating opportunities for young people in the community to engage in local sport and an active lifestyle from an early age.
The Boomers Academy is for boys and girls aged 6-14 who want to learn about the game, improve their basketball skills, and create friendships in a fun and safe environment. The program includes both half and full day clinics and camps, as well as the Junior Academy program, which runs for 6 weeks (an hour each week), offering a more targeted ongoing coaching.
